Designer Hazar (Hazura) Grably, 30, was born and raised in Jaffa to a muslim arab family.
She initially studied fashion design at the Avni Institute between the years 2011-2012, then finished her undergraduate in textile Design at the Shenkar College of Engineering, specializing in screen printing and haute-couture embroidery.

Growing up in Jaffa exposed Hazar to different and diverse cultures that deeply influenced her work. The inspiration is taken from the Islamic architecture and the arab & Palestinian traditions. Embroidery with red, black and gold thread are characteristic of her projects.
One of the most important guiding principles for Hazar Grably is to empower Arab women by working and collaborating with local seamstresses and embroidery artists.
